National Travel’s Concierge Class

See why we’re different…

On a good day, airline operations incur approximately 176,000 flight delays and/or cancellations.  These delays and/or cancellations disrupt travel plans of both business and leisure travelers, often with traumatic results.  

National Travel has made these travel events a priority and our agents work to select the best solution for every flight interruption. 

Irregular Operations (IROPs) training is a priority for all of our travel advisors.  

 Each traveler’s flight interruption, or potential problem, is acted on in real time.  On many occasions, our Travel Specialist will have already selected alternate flights for an itinerary as a backup, before the client is even aware of the issue!

Our advantage is that we research and analyze not only one airline or routing, but on multiple airlines and routing options to find the best solution.

On a stormy winter day, it is not uncommon for our Concierge Group to act as triage in routing flight status reports to our Travel Advisors, who may have hundreds of the issues to work through during a daily operation.  

Our services, including the rerouting and re-booking of itineraries impacted by IROPs, are available 24 hours a day, without charge!

“On May 18th, I was scheduled to fly from Cleveland to Dallas for training.  I was booked on a 12:37 PM flight.  Announcements began as we were waiting – the plane had tire issues.  The time kept moving for our departure, from 2:00 to 2:30 to 4:30!  Unbeknownst to me, and especially helpful, Sheri was keeping an eye on my situation and was able to get me the last seat on a 4:05 pm flight!  I’m so grateful! She’s excellent! I heard from a passenger on the flight Sheri got me on that the departure time for my original flight had moved to 7:30 PM!  I’m not sure if that plane ever took off that day!”

When booking a Vacation or Tour Package through National Travel, you will now receive 24-hour free concierge check-in services and Black Car Airport service!


Complimentary Service Qualifications:

  • Must purchase vacation or tour package through National Travel

  • Be a Priority Member of National Travel’s Travel Rewards Program

  • Applicable for International Business Class flights originating from Charleston’s Yeager Airport 

  • For surrounding areas within 15 miles of the airport

  • Huntington & Beckley services available for an additional surcharge

Is Your Passport Valid?

 

If you plan to travel internationally in 2021, now is a great time to check your passport validity!  

As a general rule, passports should be valid for at least 6 months after the intended date of travel, but these rules may also vary depending on your destination.  

The current normal processing time for passports is 10-12 weeks, so there is no time like now to get started on your renewal.

Need to find a testing center before your next trip?

National Travel is closely monitoring the ever-changing testing requirements and restrictions for destinations all over the world.  We are pleased to assist our clients in finding their closest testing site and staying up to date on the latest travel requirements for their next trip.  Currently, testing is only required for international travel, but for our travelers’ safety and convenience, we are able to provide information on the closest testing facilities for a number of different tests, including Rapid Molecular, PCR, and Antigen testing.
