Marriott to Introduce New Properties in 2021
Marriott will expand their Collections brands in 2021 to nearly 70 new locations and will enter 24 new markets.
The Autograph Collection, which first debuted in 2010, will welcome their 200th hotel this year, Grand Universe Lucca in Lucca, Italy. Forty-eight others are scheduled to join the brand, including properties in Singapore, Berlin, Istanbul, and Jackson Hole, WY. Nineteen of the new additions will be a part of Marriott’s new all-inclusive platform with locations in Mexico, the Dominican Republic, Jamaica, St. Lucia, Antigua, and Costa Rica.
The Tribute Portfolio will also add 15 new properties to their collection including locations in Ibiza, Kyoto and Atlanta.
The 120th Luxury Hotel Collection Hotel will also premiere in 2021 in Budapest Hungary. The 130-room Matild Palace is also a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

Alaska Airlines Adds New Routes from Boise
In June, Alaska Airlines will launch new daily service between Boise, ID and both Austin and Chicago’s O’Hare Airport. With the additions, Boise’s largest airline carrier will now have a total of 28 flights to 12 destinations out of the city’s airport.
New Routes for Delta, Southwest, Spirit, JetBlue and Hawaiian
Exiting new options for the airlines include Delta increasing service in Alaska, Southwest adding more options from Miami and JeBlue expanding in Hartford.
