Best Western Plus revamps to attract more corporate customers (BTN)

     Best Western Hotels aims to become more competitive over the next couple of years in order to attract more corporate travelers.  The brand is planning many meaningful changes to be implemented within the next 2-3 years, including in-room single serve coffee makers, and pillow tops on all Best Western Plus mattress.  Upgrades to fitness centers are also planned for the year 2023.

Lawsuit grows against Hertz (KATV)

     A lawsuit from one former customer initially began in 2019, accusing the rental car agency of falsifying police reports.  That lawsuit now includes over 200 former Hertz customers.   The original plaintiff in the case claims he was jailed for 11 days for a crime he did not commit, due to Hertz reporting his rental as stolen.  Despite many similar complaints, Hertz insists the claims are baseless.
